Even though I do some traditional formats, when it comes to the artistic modeling side,  I look for people as part of my art who are creative and expressive in their movement or for instance have beautiful hands or feet as required for a project.  Perhaps shooting involves hats in which case hair  and eyes would be an important part of who I am considering.

 

Life is about moments.  Taking on a shoot is a way to relax, create, interpret and be in some great locations.  Those who have joined me, become part of the process in much the same way  as the the excitement of seeing yourself on TV for the first time.  I like a low key, expressive, artistic approach.

 

When you see a photograph of ours displayed in a gallery and only you know, that the nuances are part of you as the model, there's excitement.  For me the creative release is finding the right subject to interpret my vision for the project so when it comes together, the effect is universal.

 

There's a process and a fascination that takes place being a photographer and working with a variety of people.  Our photographs become the canvas to catch the nuances. 

 

My goal is to portray a perspective that leads the viewer to subtleties.  When the landscape hides the model's silhouette in the distance or the mind scrambles to understand the curvature, it's the sudden realization that makes the creative journey exciting.
